Return & Exchange Policy for AKNSONS CANADA INC.
At AKNSONS, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange policy. Please read our policy below to understand our process:
Returns:
- You may return or exchange any unused and undamaged item within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN)
- Once you have received your RAN, securely package the item in its original packaging and include the RAN on the outside of the package.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund to the original form of payment except for the shipping and handling charges.
Exchanges:
- You may return or exchange any unused and undamaged item within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
- If you would like to exchange an item, please contact our customer service team at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and to discuss the exchange.
- Once you have received your RAN, securely package the item in its original packaging and include the RAN on the outside of the package.
- You are responsible for shipping costs for the returned item unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will ship the replacement item to you at no additional cost.
Cancellation by Customer:
- If you need to cancel your order, please contact our customer service team at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca as soon as possible.
- If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund to the original form of payment.
- If your order has already shipped, you may still cancel your order, but you will be responsible for both-way shipping costs.
Cancellation by AKNSONS:
In the rare event that we need to cancel your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund to the original form of payment.
Refund / Exchange Exceptions:
- Custom-made and engraved items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Earrings, Belly Buttons are also final sale for health and safety reasons.
- Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged. Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca and then follow the exchange policy.Â
We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the item is not returned in its original condition or if it is outside of the 14-day return window.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged. Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca and then follow the exchange policy.Â
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Defective Parcel or Goods Policy for AKNSONS
Reporting a Defective Parcel or Goods:
If you receive a parcel or goods that are defective, please contact our customer service team at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca within 1 working day of receiving the item.
Please provide photos or videos of the defect, along with your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
We may also request that you return the defective item to us for inspection.
Verification and Resolution:
- Once we receive your request and proof of the defect, we will verify the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
- If the issue is verified, we will either issue a replacement item or a refund to the original form of payment, depending on your preference.
- If we request that you return the defective item to us, we will cover the shipping costs.
Exceptions:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or wear and tear are not considered defects and are not eligible for this policy.
- Custom-made and engraved items may not be able to be replaced or refunded if production has already begun.
- We reserve the right to refuse proof requests or resolutions if the issue is not eligible for this policy.
Proof of Purchase
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to us without getting the RAN. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.Â
We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at orders_ca@swastikelegance.ca.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
 If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

NOTE:
For both Returns for exchange and refund, You are responsible for returning the item back to us. We do not accept responsibility for it until it has been delivered to us so we do advise you to get proof of postage. We do not credit back the both-way return postage cost and the amount should be deducted from your refund balance.
